Sheriff Kevin Molder is currently in his third term as Sheriff with a career spanning over 30 years in law enforcement. Throughout his tenure, Sheriff Molder has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing public safety and serving the community with integrity and dedication.

Under Sheriff Molder's leadership, significant strides have been made in improving law enforcement services in Poinsett County. Notably, he spearheaded the expansion of the county jail facilities without relying on funds from the County General, showcasing his ability to deliver essential infrastructure upgrades efficiently and within budget constraints.

Furthermore, Sheriff Molder's initiatives to modernize the 911 system have resulted in more efficient dispatching of emergency calls, ensuring that responders can reach those in need swiftly and effectively. By joining forces with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force, Sheriff Molder has actively engaged in the fight against drug-related crimes, demonstrating a proactive approach to combating the challenges posed by illicit substances in the community.

Sheriff Molder's commitment to community safety is further evidenced by his efforts to increase patrols in rural areas, providing a visible law enforcement presence and fostering a sense of security among residents. On a personal note, Sheriff Molder's academic achievements, including a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Arkansas State University, and an Associate Applied Science Degree from Black River Technical College, reflect his deep commitment to professional development and excellence in law enforcement.

Moreover, Sheriff Molder's active involvement in various boards and committees, such as the Arkansas Professional Bail Bonding Board, the Arkansas 911 Board, the Law Enforcement Training Academy Advisory Committee, 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force Board, Poinsett County Sheriff Foundation, and Arisa Health Board, demonstrates his broader engagement in shaping policy and promoting best practices within the law enforcement community.
